If you’ve been thinking about getting your kids into golf but weren’t sure where to start, American Golf has just made that decision a whole lot easier.
This summer, from Monday 21st July to Friday 29th August, all American Golf stores across the UK will be offering free junior putting lessons – and there’s no booking required. It’s a nationwide initiative designed to inspire the next generation of golfers, making golf more accessible, exciting, and affordable for families everywhere.
Why putting? Why now?
Golf is more popular than ever – To help spark kids’ interest and make golf feel more welcoming, American Golf is giving juniors the chance to try it out in a relaxed, fun setting with free daily putting sessions.
These sessions are all about low-pressure learning, movement, coordination, and most of all — fun. They take place Monday to Friday, mornings only (until midday), and are open to all juniors under 16, regardless of ability or previous experience.
No booking. No cost. No pressure.
There’s no need to book — simply walk into your nearest participating American Golf store, and your child can take part in a free putting session on our practice greens or mats.
Every junior who completes a session will even receive a special certificate, with their name proudly filled out and signed by a store team member. It’s a small but meaningful way to celebrate their achievement and encourage them to keep going.
Parents/guardians must be present during sessions — it’s a great chance to share the experience together!
Extra perks for participants (and parents)
As a thank you for taking part, every junior who completes a session will receive 10% off Junior products
And to ensure no one misses out, this 10% discount can also be offered in store to any family shopping junior golf gear — even if your child chooses not to participate in the session. (Just ask a store colleague!)
